6. Cookies and Analytics

We may use cookies, analytics tools, and similar technologies to improve website functionality, security, performance, and customer experience.

Cookies may help us:

  • Recognize returning users.
  • Keep users logged in.
  • Improve website and portal performance.
  • Understand how customers use our website.
  • Detect security risks or misuse.
  • Improve services and communication.

You may control cookies through your browser settings. If you disable cookies, some website, portal, or application features may not work properly.

We use Google Analytics on https://postagelogistics.com, https://app.postagelogistics.com, and https://plg.courierconnectsystems.com to understand website and platform usage, monitor performance, improve customer experience, and evaluate marketing and service activity. The public website is primarily used for marketing content and service information, while the web application is where customer accounts, package activity, shipment records, payment records, and other service-related data are managed.

7. Payment Information

Where card payments are made through our website, customer portal, office, or approved payment channels, payments are processed by third-party payment processors, including WiPay and PowerTranz, or other approved payment providers that may be used from time to time.

Postage Logistics Group Limited does not store customer card information on its services. Card data does not pass through our backend servers. Where Hosted Payment Page (HPP) or similar payment technology is used, customers enter their card details directly into the systems of the payment processor. The payment processor then handles the card transaction according to its own security controls, compliance obligations, and privacy policy.

Postage Logistics Group Limited may store transaction references, payment status, invoice records, receipts, approval/decline status, and other non-card payment records needed to manage accounts, reconcile payments, support customers, and comply with business or legal requirements.

Customers should review the privacy and security policies of WiPay, PowerTranz, or any other payment provider used to complete a transaction.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable technical, physical, administrative, and organizational safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, alteration, or disclosure.

However, no website, platform, system, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Customers are responsible for keeping their account login information confidential and for notifying us if they suspect unauthorized access to their account.

9. International Transfer of Information

Because our services involve international shipping, warehousing, customs processing, technology services, and overseas partners, personal information may be transferred, stored, accessed, or processed outside Jamaica.

This may include transfer to the United States or other countries connected to the shipping, payment, customs, technology, or service process.

Where information is transferred internationally, we aim to use reasonable safeguards and to share only the information necessary for the relevant service or legal purpose.

10. Retention of Information

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, manage accounts, process packages, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, complete audits, and enforce our Terms.

When personal information is no longer reasonably required, we may delete, anonymize, archive, or securely retain it as permitted or required by law.

Postage Logistics Group Limited is not responsible for the privacy practices, security, content, or policies of third-party websites or services. Customers should review the privacy policies of those third parties before providing information to them.

13. Business Transfers

Personal information may be disclosed or transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, restructuring, financing, partnership, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable law.

14. Updates to This Privacy Policy
